TERMS OF USE POLICY

The Office of Charitable Gaming (OCG) is providing this web site as a service to the public. The usage of the content, reports, images and logos on the OCG site by any other website is strictly prohibited by law. The usage of the reports and data without the expressed written consent of OCG is a violation of Louisiana copyright and other proprietary rights. The misrepresentation via modification of information from this website in any presentation is injudicious and shall be dealt with accordingly to the fullest extent of the law.

This policy focuses on the conduct of this site's users, the collection, disclosure, access and security of information that may be obtained through the use of the OCG site. It incorporates the following areas:

Online Conduct Policy

The user agrees to use the Office of Charitable Gaming (OCG) website only for lawful purposes. If the Office of Charitable Gaming is notified of allegedly infringing, defamatory, damaging, illegal, or offensive Content provided by User (e.g., through an author chat or online review), OCG may investigate the allegation and determine in its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal of such Content from OCG's website. The Office of Charitable Gaming may disclose any Content or electronic communication of any kind (i) to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request; (ii) if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate OCG' website; or (iii) to protect the rights or property of OCG, its Users or Providers.

The Office of Charitable Gaming reserves the right to prohibit conduct, communication, or Content that it deems in its sole discretion to be harmful to individual Users, this state Department, the communities that make up the OCG website, or any rights of OCG or any third party, or to violate any applicable law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, neither OCG nor its Providers can ensure prompt removal of questionable Content after online posting. Our mission is "to be recognized as a leader in customer service through a unified effort of dedicated employees and continuous improvement." OCG is dedicated to helping the charitable gaming community in any way possible. We want to provide you with information that will assist you in compliance with Louisiana Charitable gaming laws and regulations. We are aware that with increasing technology and usage of the electronic beltway to do business there exists an increasing faction determined to breach the walls of security aimed at protecting confidential information of our citizens. We have gone to great lengths to insure and preserve your privacy when visiting our site.

This policy focuses on the collection, disclosure, access and security of information that may be obtained through the use of the OCG site. It incorporates the following areas:
I. Disclaimer

The purpose of this site is to provide immediate access to public and private information concerning the state of Louisiana's Charitable gaming requirements, laws and regulations administered by the OCG. The information and data on this site is dynamic and will change over time. We strive to provide current, reliable and accurate information; however, we fully recognize the possibility of human and/or mechanical error occurring. Thus, the information and materials provided on this site should not be relied upon exclusively to comply with Louisiana state charitable gaming laws and regulations. We, the Office of Charitable Gaming, its employees, officers and agencies, deny any warranty (expressed or implied) of accuracy, reliability or timeliness of any information published via this site and shall not be held liable for any losses caused by usage and reliance upon the accuracy, reliability or timeliness of such information. The above information automatically collected is logged and used by the Office of Charitable Gaming only to improve the content of our web services and to help us understand how individuals are using our services. OCG analyzes this information to determine how our web site is being used, so that we may continually improve the site's usefulness to the public.

We, the Office of Charitable Gaming, keep confidential, the information that you provide us, in your correspondence with us through the United States mail, and during your meetings with our auditors or other employees. Bear this in mind, particularly if you voluntarily are sending us information such as your name, address, social security number, federal employer identification number, or Louisiana Charitable gaming identification number. OCG does not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us by sending us email, participate in a survey or complete an online form. Your decision not to participate in these activities will not impair your ability to browse the Office of Charitable Gaming web site and read or download any information provided on the site. Personal information includes such things as an individual's name, address, and phone number. A domain name or Internet Protocol address is not necessarily considered personal information.

The OCG website contains links to third-party web sites, including but not limited to other government agencies, the federal government and reciprocating sites. The linked sites are not under the control of the Office of Charitable Gaming; furthermore, OCG is not responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site. OCG is providing these links only as a convenience to the public and/or reciprocating measure, and the inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of content, viewpoint, policies, products or services of that web site by this agency. Security Policy

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, the Office of Charitable Gaming (OCG) web servers employ industry-standard methods to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
